Kit Rodgers

Where justice meets satire. Where murder meets meaning.

WHO IS THIS? . . . no really . . . why should I pay any attention at all?

Kit Rodgers is a criminal‑defense attorney, singer/songwriter, novelist, podcaster, and philosophical trouble maker. After twenty years of trying murder cases including death penalty cases, some being featured on Dateline NBC, Court TV, and other networks, he has produced and released a 6 episode series on YouTube called Seeker to Seer. It is a documentary-style series that follows thinking as it happens. The show begins each episode with a question and resists the urge to rush toward answers. Drawing from psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, Eastern thought, and lived experience, Seeker to Seer examines how humans use explanation, belief, insight, and discipline to regulate discomfort—and what remains when those tools stop working. Filmed in the studio and on an off-grid farm in Big South Fork, the series treats ideas as practices to be tested against reality, not positions to be defended. This is not a show about conclusions; it’s a record of inquiry, attention, and learning in real time. Kit has also produced an 18 episode podcast called Southern ArchHeretic (available now wherever you cast pods), writes thrillers and upmarket novels (currently seeking agent prior to publishing), and continues to write and record music. His law practice still consists of the most serious criminal cases and select few civil cases. Oh yeah . . . you can also link to two music EPs released in the past few years here as well.

Off‑grid on a 90‑acre Tennessee farm, he mixes sarcasm with legal rigor to ask one question: What the hell is going on? Aren’t you curious?
